Cigarette Racing contacted me earlier this year and wanted me to come up with a t-shirt design. They are a boat manufacturing company based out of Miami, made famous for their “cigarette” boats that were used for drug running in the 70′s and 80′s.Cigarette Racing has a strong brand – most of their marketing material utilizes sexual innuendoand features scantily clad women. Because they were created in 1969, the “Since ’69″ concept came naturally and they agreed that it was a great idea.
This design was produced via 1982 with feedback and ideas from Victoria Costa and was printed in Ft Lauderdale by one of our favorite screen printing presses.
